Registered 1949 but probably (?) late 1950 or 51, BB-Swan fiberglass catboat.  Very Good Condition, builder's plate BB 623.  Original Factory Equipment includes Thurston canvas sail (not serviceable), outboard bracket, canvas cockpit cover, oar locks, 8' oars, deck mounted bow chock, stern bow cleats, deep draft rudder, daggerboard, un-stayed aluminum mast.  New Equipment includes Red Thurston Sail (made by son from his father's original 1949 specs), Harken main sheet block and jam cleat, all running rigging, anchor w/ rode, dock lines.  2001 galvanized SeaLion trailer excellent condition.  Never sailed in salt water, I am second sailing-owner of the boat.  Easy to trail with compact car.  $2600.

Comfortable family cruiser, great daysailer with huge cockpit. Similar in size and layout to a Marshall 22, Scoter was the smallest official “tall ship” in the 2000 NYS OpSail parade.
